Youth On Fire

From January 3-7, the Four Corners Initiative led by Pastor Reynold Cargay had organised the "Youth On Fire" Missions conference where around 500 young people from all over this area had come for a time of powerful woship, challenging exhortations and deep learning in different areas of ministry such as Leadership, Missions, Worship, Creative Art and Media, and Enterpreunership.

I had the privelege to co-ordinate the Leadership School and shared 3 sessions on the subject.

Worship indeed was lively with original folk type of songs geared towards missions
The whole group was divided into some 25 groups where they shared about what they were learning in the conference

Family Get together at New Years Eve

Our family had a wonderful get together over the New Years Eve in Darjeeling.

The children are quite a talented lot. Here is a picture of our son playing the keyboard and my two brother's sons playing the violin.

Children gathered for a special Christmas program where they were taught songs, Bible lessons, played games, were well feed with a good meal and were given gifts.

Finally, Back Again.

At long last, I have been able to get back to blogging.

Those of you who have been trying to follow my blog must be frustrated to find that the last blog was the one I did during my trip back to India with no new updates.

Fact is that they blog changed their entry method and I just couldn't get in. Moreover, our connection speed was very slow until we recently installed broadband. Now I hope I can faithfully keep updating.

Here are some pictures taken during Christmas 2006. We fed around 400 people, most of whom were non-Christians.

Here is Reena's sister's husband, Angus, sharing the Christmas message with two Hindu businessmen.

The food ran out and so here you see Reena and another couple eating the leftovers in large bowls.
Here is our son Prafulla (extreme left) with two of his friends.
